You want convenience without the hassle of changeovers. All-Weather tires handle rain, light snow, and year-round Lower Mainland conditions in one set.
Comfort, fuel efficiency, and low road noise matter most. All-Season tires like the Assurance ComfortDrive or MaxLife deliver quiet, long-wearing performance.
You need the 3-Peak Mountain Snowflake rating to legally drive on mountain passes. Winter tires or All-Weather tires are your options here.
Your truck or SUV sees rough terrain, heavy loads, or unpaved roads. All-Terrain tires like the Wrangler DuraTrac RT or Workhorse AT are built for this.

It depends on where you drive. If you stay mostly in the Lower Mainland and occasionally travel to Whistler or on mountain passes, all-weather tires are a great year-round solution — they're legal on BC mountain routes and eliminate the need for seasonal changeovers. If you regularly drive in serious winter conditions, live at higher elevation, or want maximum snow and ice traction, dedicated winter tires are the better choice.
Yes — as long as they carry the 3-Peak Mountain Snowflake (3PMSF) rating. This is different from the "M+S" (Mud and Snow) designation that all-season tires often carry. BC regulations require the 3PMSF symbol on designated mountain highways from October 1 to April 30. All-weather tires like the Goodyear Assurance WeatherReady 2 carry this rating. Standard all-season tires do not.
Yes — we strongly recommend EV-rated tires for electric vehicles. EVs are significantly heavier than equivalent gas-powered cars due to the battery pack, which requires a higher load rating than standard tires provide. They also produce 100% of their torque from a dead stop, which places unique stress on tread compounds. And because EVs run nearly silently, tire noise is much more noticeable in the cabin. EV-rated tires like the Goodyear ElectricDrive 2 address all three of these demands.
We recommend it every time. Misaligned wheels can wear new tires unevenly within a few thousand kilometres — sometimes cutting tire life in half. If your previous tires showed uneven wear, alignment is especially important. Our computerized four-wheel alignment system measures and corrects all four wheels to manufacturer spec. It's a relatively small additional cost that protects a much larger investment.
It varies by tire type and driving habits. All-season tires typically last 60,000–100,000 km under normal conditions. Long-life tires like the Assurance MaxLife are rated up to 130,000 km. Winter tires are typically replaced every 4–6 seasons depending on use. EV tires may wear faster than average due to vehicle weight and torque — some EV manufacturers recommend rotation every 10,000–12,000 km rather than the standard 15,000–20,000 km.
Absolutely — it's one of the most common conversations we have. We'll ask about your vehicle, how much you drive, and what matters most to you (longest life, best winter performance, quietest ride, etc.), then match that to options at different price points. Sometimes a mid-tier tire that's properly installed and aligned will outlast a premium tire that isn't. We're happy to walk through the tradeoffs honestly — just give us a call or send us a message.

EVs are heavier, produce more instant torque, and demand more from tires than conventional vehicles. As a nexdrive-certified EV shop and authorized Goodyear dealer, we stock EV-rated fitments matched to your vehicle's specific requirements.
A standard passenger tire wasn't designed for the specific demands of an electric vehicle. EVs are 20–30% heavier than equivalent gas vehicles due to the battery pack, produce 100% of their torque from a dead stop, and are almost completely silent — meaning road noise from the tires is more noticeable.
EV-rated tires address these challenges with reinforced sidewalls to handle extra weight, optimized tread compounds for lower rolling resistance (extending range), enhanced noise dampening, and high-torque tread blocks that resist the aggressive acceleration EVs produce.
Fitting an EV with the correct tires isn't just a performance choice — it directly affects your driving range, handling safety, and long-term tire costs.

Goodyear's flagship all-season EV tire. Optimized tread compound for low rolling resistance and extended range, with enhanced wet and dry grip. SoundComfort foam technology reduces cabin noise. Available in popular EV fitments.
Purpose-built winter tire for electric vehicles. Maintains EV-specific load rating and torque handling while delivering the winter compound grip required for BC roads in cold weather.
Premium touring comfort with noise-reduction technology — an excellent choice for Model 3, Model Y, and other EVs where cabin quietness is a priority.
For EV owners who want winter-certified protection. Available in select EV fitments with the load rating and torque performance EVs demand in cold weather.
We also supply Michelin, Bridgestone, Continental, Pirelli, and other brands in EV-rated fitments. Ask us about what's available for your specific vehicle.
Tesla recommends every 10,000–12,000 km. Most other EVs follow standard intervals but may wear faster due to weight and torque. We follow manufacturer guidelines for your specific vehicle.
Proper wheel balance reduces vibration and prevents cupping wear. We use computerized balancing equipment — critical on EVs where cabin noise is more apparent.
EV weight and instant torque make proper alignment essential for even wear. We recommend an alignment check with every new set of tires — and annually thereafter.
We mount and balance EV tires to manufacturer torque specs — including the specific wheel-nut patterns and TPMS sensor reset procedures for each EV make.
